Brief Resume: Began banking career as floating teller with Troy Savings bank in 2000. In 2003, graduated from college and went to work for TD Banknorth as a teller and moved my way up to assistant branch manager in 2006. I accepted assistant branch manager position with NBT in October of 2007. I am responsible for helping to manage the branch and growing customer relationships in the Glens Falls market.
What do you do?: My responsibilities include helping to manage staff, maintaining and developing new customer relationships, overseeing daily operations of the branch and ensuring proper policies and procedures are followed.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Communications, concentration in Television & Radio, Ithaca College (2003), Whitehall High School (1999)
Community Involvement: BBBSSADK Bowl-a-thon recruitment committee (2009-2010), Tri County United Way, (2010).
Hobbies: working out, spending time with family
Career aspiration in high school: I wanted to be an architect because I loved drawing floor plans. I quickly realized how much math was involved and decided to major in television & radio. The funny thing is I ended up in banking where I deal with numbers all day!
First job: Babysitting
How did you become a banker? I needed a summer job and liked working with the public. I also really liked the “bankers’ hours.”
Five years from now I will be: I will hopefully be managing my own branch.
Favorite Book: “Downtown Chic”- It is an interior design book. It doesn’t really tell a story but the content is interesting and beautiful. I look at it all the time.
Why do you choose to work/live in area? I grew up here. I have traveled across the entire country and still feel this is one of the most beautiful areas.
Favorite restaurant: Bistro Tallulah’s

What type of business contacts do you seek? Anyone. Everybody has financial needs at some point in their life and I want to help them.
